The ACCJ Journal

The ACCJ Journal is the authority on global business in Japan. Published for the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) since 1964, the magazine now serves as one of the country’s leading sources of English-language business information and analysis.

Featuring in-depth articles covering areas such as finance and banking, science and technology, healthcare, the economy and market trends, as well as profiles of corporate leaders and the region’s trailblazing entrepreneurs, The ACCJ Journal offers a rare glimpse into the minds of those at the vanguard of international business. This 2-in-1 magazine targets a broad readership, with articles written by professional journalists that include comment by experts. Regular columns and syndicated content from select partners such as Nikkei Asian Review, Fast Company, and The Diplomat appear alongside monthly features and translations from Japanese media. The ACCJ Journal is your touchstone for business intelligence, designed to demystify the inner workings of the Japanese corporate landscape.

The second part of The ACCJ Journal is reserved for ACCJ news and member contributions, including photos and reviews of ACCJ events, as well as articles from chamber leaders in the Tokyo, Kansai, and Chubu regions. Custom Media has been publishing the magazine since September 2013. This partnership heralds a new era of engaging content, excitement, and creativity for the publication. Custom Media brings a wealth of experience in print and digital publishing, along with a strong creative background in communications.
